Rafi Ami, My Service Dog
These are pictures of Rafi Ami.
He has a mixed heritage. His mother is a poodle,
his father is a Cavalier St Charles Spaniel. The
breed is known for its intelligence, loyalty and eagerness to please.  Moreover, they are easy to train and have a low  hypo-allergenic affect.
Every service dog is trained to provide special  assistance. Among other services, Raif must keep me alert, and on track.

Travel is a learning experience for
Rafi and -- because I travel so much -- it
is essential that he perform in a variety of environments whether in a subway or on a mountain trail.
As with all service dogs, his training was
consistent and continuous,

At six months of age, (in this photo),
he had quite a way to go to
reach the high skill level
that Micah  attained.

As a puppy, he was very affectionate, fun
and funny, and a delight to watch,
train or cuddle.
